Once again, Marjorie Taylor Greene has shown just how strange she really is. Every time she talks, I can hear the song Duelling Banjos from the movie Deliverance playing in my head.

Weeks ago, Greene, who must have been asleep in school, commented that Guam was a foreign country, when any semi-educated person knows quite well that Guam is a U. S. Territory, and has been since 1899. People born in Guam for the last 70 years are considered to be U.S. Citizens.

In response to this ignorant remark, Guam’s Governor, Lou Leon Guerrero (A woman who is NOT crazy by the way) said "We would be more than happy to send Representative Greene's office a copy of 'Destiny's Landfall: A History of Guam."

Senator Michael San Nicolas who represents Guam responded with: "Congresswoman Greene is a new member, and we will be paying a visit to her and delivering delicious Chamorro Chip Cookies as part of our ongoing outreach to new members to introduce them to our wonderful island of Guam."

On Monday of this week, Senator Nicolas took a group of Guam National guardsman, who are stationed at the Capitol, on a tour of the Capitol. They were unarmed except for a platter of Chamorro Chip cookies. They visited the offices of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., and cuckoo-for-cocoa puffs Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Greene was not in her office, but when she found out about this, she was outraged and apparently in fear for her life. She promptly wrote a letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Daniel Hokanson, the chief of the National Guard, demanding they withdraw all National Guard troops stationed at the Capitol. Greene accused lawmakers of using the troops to "intimidate" and "harass" conservatives.

Keep in mind this is the same Marjorie Taylor Greene who went on the record on Twitter claiming that the U.S. Capitol rioters were NOT Trump supporters despite each and every one of the 300+ arrested so far who profess their fealty to Trump.

How the hell did the people of Georgia elect this bizarre, conspiracy theory spouting crackpot? Every time she opens her mouth she brings shame and ridicule upon the State of Georgia.

In February of this year, Ms. Greene, a staunch defender of guns and the Second Amendment kept her campaign pledge to defend gun rights by introducing the Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA) to defund all federal gun control enforcement and end funding for regulation and guidance issued by the ATF.

The Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA) will:

• Cut all federal funding from implementing, enforcing, or advancing any measure, law, regulation, or guidance relating to the lawful use, purchase, sale, possession, or transportation of firearms by any citizen of the United States for Fiscal Year 2021.

• Prohibit any federal funds from enforcing or implementing regulations or guidance issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms promulgated after November 1, 2020.

To put all of this in perspective, she wants no rules or regulations regarding the ownership or possession of guns, but people armed with cookies must be stopped.

This might be funny if it wasn’t so unbelievable. You’d think there’d be some kind of literacy or psychological test required to run for public office.

I wonder if they make Chamorro Chip Cookies with nuts?
